Ebonroc is the fifth boss in Blackwing Lair. Players are able to gain wonderful rewards including WoW currency (copper, silver and WoW gold), exclusive items and XP (WoW power leveling) if you have defeated it. In matter of fact, Ebonroc is not very hard to defeat only if you have a good strategy. First of all, you should know abilities of ebonroc before you take a plan. Here we are going to introduce how to beat Ebonroc!
Abilities of Ebonroc
Wing Buffet: Knocks back the target, doing damage and reducing aggro.
Shadow Flame: Ability shared with Firemaw, Flamegor and Nefarian. Deals about 3,938 - 5,062 cone-shaped shadow damage and is not partially resistable. Furthermore, it has a Damage over Time effect (Shadow Flame) on its target for 1,750 - 2,250 damage per second for 10 seconds unless the recipient is wearing an Onyxia Scale Cloak.
Shadow of Ebonroc: Shadow of Ebonroc is a debuff cast on the main tank. While active, Ebonroc gains 25,000 health every time he strikes that target. It cannot be dispelled, and you must wait the full duration (8 seconds) for the debuff to fade.
Thrash: Gives Ebonroc 2 extra attacks, hitting the tank in rapid succession.
If players desire to get easy victory and World of Warcraft gold, you should consider how to make a strategy with its abilities!
Strategy of Ebonroc
The strategy for this fight is very similar to the strategy for Firemaw. Wow~if you have experience of Fireman, we think it is easy for you and your members. Of course, you need more preparation, like WoW gold, items and equipments if you want to finish Blackwing Lair. If you've mastered him, this fight should not be much more challenging, assuming you have adequate Shadow Resist gear.
Pull Ebonroc to the nearby alcove and position him so that the tanks are in a corner, facing him. Be ready for his first casts, which will Shadow of Ebonroc, following by Wing Buffet. When the first Wing Buffet hits, start the timing for the second one, while an OT takes over and begins taunting him.
As soon as a Tank is affected by Shadow of Ebonroc, the next Tank in the rotation must immediately Taunt Ebonroc off him. Like Firemaw, he does a Wing Wuffet every now and then. Use an OT to Taunt him away from the MT so that he does not get the Buffet (50% threat reduction). Keep Mortal Strike and Wound Poison active at all times to prevent him from healing himself. Before you enter to Blackwing Lair, you should buy some drugs with WoW money no matter how you trust your members. Saving yourself is necessary when you take a heavy damage in the combat.
Unlike Firemaw, the entire party can stay safely within Ebonroc's line of sight. The only danger is a caster pulling aggro right when Ebonroc casts Shadowflame, which shouldn't happen if the Tanks are keeping up with their rotation. Have priests assigned to shield the main tank after each shadow flame, in order to provide extra protection.
DPS players need to attack Ebonroc as hard as possible, particularly those classes capable of removing aggro by using Vanish, Feign Death, or a similar talent. DPS classes who cannot drop aggro should run to a corner if they gain aggro.
Basic Tips
Finish clearing the Goblin Packs before you try to engage Ebonroc. See Firemaw's Guide for strategy in dealing with these packs. Make sure when you engage the last pack that you are not too close to the spiral staircase. Ebonroc's patrol route brings him to the bottom of the staircase and engaging the goblin pack near it will cause him to aggro on the raid party before you are ready to fight him. If players have no time to play this instance or no WoW gold to buy items, we can solve your problems. Yes, players are able to buy WoW gold and WoW power leveling service from our site!
Assign three healers to heal whichever tank is taking damage from Ebonroc at any given time. They need to be quick to change targets with him, in order to keep his primary attack object alive.
Assign another three healers to the remaining tank party, so that they get immediate heals when Shadowflame is cast.
Warriors need to set up a recovery rotation, so that as soon as one tank is damaged, another moves in to take over while the first tank heals. This forces Ebonroc to always be targeting a tank that is not currently afflicted by Shadows of Ebonroc.
Have a designated person who can be the "caller" for the Warrior rotation.
As with Firemaw, keep your tanks at the top of the threat list.
A good communication setup is a necessity. Tanks need to vocalize immediately when their Taunt has been resisted, so that the next Tank in the rotation steps in to Taunt and reposition Ebonroc.
